Can't Wait!

I know, I know.. I've not blogged for a very very very long time. Probably my only faithful reader is my sister! And 大姐, I know you'll say "Why you so random, suddenly want to update your blog?". Truth is, I'm also like you, saja-saja want to update my blog when it's late at night, and I can't seem to fall asleep.

Anyway, moving on, I'd just like to get this off my chest (just in case the world may seem curious on what's the "in" thing in my thoughts.

For one, I CANT WAIT to own my very own STETHOSCOPE!!!

I've heard from this Melbourne uni lecturer, that there's this girl who owns many stethoscopes just to match with her outfit! W-O-W!



I wouldn't want that though. Not only is it a lot of money we're talking about here, but it just seems "un-keng", in my opinion.

I'd prefer a sophisticated colour like dark blue or black that'll make me seem more professional and etc. (though my sis says pink is real nice)

And another thing I can't wait about, but there's really nothing much I can do but let it grow is........ my hair!

Remember when it was this long???



Now, its just about 1+ inch below my shoulders and it's gonna take ages for it to grow that long again...

BUT, I'll be patient. Let God's timing be and wait for everything to happen when it is meant to happen.

Oh, another thing that I forgot to mention... I'm having my HOLIDAYS! Yes, finally my first term holidays, the moment I've been waiting for since school started.

But, with holidays there's always homework, so I must add oil and work hard to prepare myself for the approaching exams!

It's no joke. I must say, I've improved.

I'm able to sleep 2-3 am most of the weekdays studying and doing h/w this year... compared to when I ALWAYS merancang with my sis to STAY UP TILL VERY LATE (NO MATTER WHAT), and then having to have a "5-minute break" to rest for awhile. But, 5 minutes doesnt work at all.. So, now, my sis sleeps even earlier than me at times.

I have to give God ALL THE GLORY, for giving me the strength and endurance to not only stay up till late, but also for the results I got this term. It's more than I think I deserve, but never underestimate God's blessings on you. I know it's HIS work and not my strength at all. =)

And, not to advertise but this really helps with burning the midnight oil.

No joke, even my sister can say that! Haha.. but of course, it's not good for your health. So that's why never drink too much! :D



Oh, and you know this movie called Beezus and Ramona? It's quite nice actually, except for the fact that I cried when their cat died... I have no idea why, but tears just keep rolling down.

I suggest I cried because of a few factors:

1. I could have held back my tears, but my sister just had to look at me and say, "Car, you can't!". And my ears just flooded with more tears. Thanks 姐. She likes to make me cry. ALL THE TIME!

2. Why did they have to let the cat die? It was for NO REASON. In my opinion, that is...
I was shattered, I tell you. It's just an innocent, fat cat, and they had to let it die. NOOOOOOO!!!

3. I think the fact that the character "Ramona" was really cute, and that added an "awwwww :(" factor to the cat.

Cute?



Yea, soo.. that is why I cried.

Well, that's all for now. I have no idea when the next post will be, but it will, when the right time comes.. ;)

Pretty Lil' Things!

If you all read my sis' blog, you've found out that we made arts and craft last night, right after my sis' exams! SO, instead of blabbing about how it was allll done, i've summarized the process into a few pictures and a phrase!

Basically, it started with drawing, cutting, pasting and TA-DAAAA!!!!

It's quite easy to make, though my sis made only 1 japanese paper doll when I made 3 during that time, because APPARENTLY she was being precise and neat!

PEEK-a-BOO

Just a lil' short post before exams! Hehe.. Yes, exams are continuing this coming tuesday! OH NO!!!! It's another tiring ride again, but I know my strength has to come from Him because my own strength is really not enough!

I'm feeling quite lazy these days, which is real bad as exams are in a few days time. Every second counts - well, that's why I think but my heart says a whole new thing (i'm giving into temptation???? NO!)

I've got a bitter-sweet feeling in me right now. Happy that exams are going to be over soon, christmas, chinese new year (ang pao!) and lots more... But before that, I've gotta study study study and revise for my exams!

I'm tellin myself that it's all going to come into place at the end, but right now, the puzzle's all jumbled up - where's the finishing masterpiece?

Haven't been to a shopping centre since 1-2 months ago! WOW! Quite impressive actually, considering me.. No going shopping centres means no shopping! I'm quite impressed that I've not bought any clothes or stationery these past few weeks, but don't get me wrong! I still love shopping and clothes and etc. :)

Something's crossing my mind at the moment as well. Should I have a part time job during the holidays? You know, to earn a lil' more $$$ :) Not like I'm money face and all but it would be good to self-earn some money, if not I wont be able to have a part time job next year - mainly cos of major exams! But this dilemma will only be considered later, after exams!

Guys and girls, PRAY FOR ME!!!!! I know for sure that prayer does wonders, so every prayer counts! God loves you everyone! And love Him too!

LOVELOVELOVELOVE! All the best, and till my exams finish, that'll be my next post updating LOTSSSSS of stuff, I mean it. My sister's kinda like complaining to me why I'm not posting pictures on facebook or have let my blog rot, till no one's actually reading this. But it's ok if no one read this, cos I like talking to myslef and I know God's listening!! Hehe.. :)

Room + 2

Hey everyone...

I've added, well, mainly two new "things" to my room just recently. Something much different than PINKPINKPINK stuff I have all over my room! Hehe.. Anyway, I think their great additions to my room and I made them, so it costs free!

1. Photos of my family! (The photo frame was given from someone so, no, i didnt make those!




2. Frames of little pieces of my life! My sister at first suggested that I cut pictures from magazines, etc. but I didnt want to cos its no point putting up pictures you don't have anything to tell a story about! *remember, pictures paint a thousand words!!! ;)*



I'm really happy with my little +2 additions! Hehe... God bless everyone.. :)

Rain or shine, day or night!

Sometimes I wonder, why one (as in referring to I myself) would complain and complain so much about a particular subject, such as the weather. Yes, Melbourne has 4 seasons and to some, it may seem like a splendid thing. Yet, in other's opinions, they think it's just annoying.

But one thing I realise, is that one (again, just referring to myself) tends to allow the weather or conditions to control one's moods and feelings. Though it may seem hard not to feel cold or hot at different weathers, whether temperate or not, I come to realise that there seem to be more aspects in just the weather alone.

It can be raining one minute, and the next, its hot and sunny. One tends to feel happy when it's hot and grumbles less than in the cold. I for one often grumble when it's raining, cloudy and cold. But the thing is, rain or shine, day or night, God has blessed us with rain and sun. No rain, then the crops would cease to exist and same goes for the Sun. I now think that its better to praise God for the weather whether its cold or hot, cos God is in control of everything, including the weather.

One thing obvious, is that the weather should never control your mood or how you should feel! Be thankful, and complain less (CARIN!) Remember, 1000 frowns makes a wrinkle! :)

Because We Know That People Need The Lord...

She's Called PEBBLES!

I've got a new puppy!!!! N yes, its my first time ever!!!! She's only 8 weeks when I got her, so shes about 11 weeks now... Her name's Pebbles and how we got her name??? Well, my sis n i were watching The Flinstones and you know theres a tiny cute girl named Pebbles in it. She looks like this:



But anyway, my real i-can-now-call-my-own-puppy was bought from the Pines Pet Shop for $495, which is quite cheap as we went puppy hunting tht day!!! N finally, our last shop was the one at The Pines Shopping Centre.
